Registration
In order to link to Merchants, make purchases, and collect cash back rewards, through PocketMore.com, you must first create a user name and password. During registration you are required to provide contact information, such as name and email address. Some information, such as income and age are optional. We use this information within PocketMore.com to more accurately provide our valued customers with closely matched merchants. Our commitment to our customers extends to selecting merchants who provide the desired shopping experience expected by our users. We use this information to contact you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest. We pride ourselves on never hassling you with emails you do not request.
PocketMore Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on PocketMore.com. PocketMore.com collects personally identifiable information from our users at several different points on our Web site.
Orders
If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.
Uses of Information
Information collected is used two ways. The user name and password you provide is used for identifying your account and tracking your orders. This information is essential to provide you with the benefits of PocketMore, namely cash back rewards, use of coupons on merchant sites. Account information given by you gives PocketMore the necessary information to be able to send you the cash back rewards you have earned on your request. Optional information is used to make demographic decisions on what merchants we choose to partner with to better serve you.
Communications from the Site
Special Offers and Updates
Only upon your request will we send you information on products, services, special deals, promotions or forum related items. You can sign up for these emails from us on our registration page, our Share forum page or your account preferences. Out of respect for your privacy, we present the option not to receive these types of communications. Please see the “Choice and Opt-out.”
Newsletters
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe. Please see the “Choice and Opt-out” section.
Service-related Announcements
We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. Your Profile and Information Sharing and Disclosure
We collect two types of information from you when you register or sign-up with PocketMore.com. Personal identifiable information (PI) and non-personal identifiable information (NPI). PI information is data provided by you, that may include but not limited to, user-name, password, address, email, Phone number, payment and/or contact information. PocketMore.com securely stores PI information. Only PocketMore selected employees and selected contractors or vendors (having PocketMore.com required confidentiality requirements) maintaining this site will have access to your PI. We do not share PI information with any third parties. We take pride in securing our shoppers information just as I would expect my information to be protected. NPI information is also provided by you and is purely optional. NPI information may include, age, gender, income, or other such demographic information. No NPI information is linked with your PI information. NPI information is used by PocketMore.com to analyze the needs and desires of our users shopping habits and to provide all our users with merchants that are tailored to these parameters. Cookies
What? A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. A session ID cookie expires when you close you browser. Why? Cookies are necessary to identify you to PocketMore without having to sign-in again on our site. Cookies are also necessary to identify you as a PocketMore user when you link to merchants sites though the PocketMore website. Without a cookie, we cannot identify your purchase to provide you with your cash back reward. Therefore PocketMore requires its users to have cookies
Links to Other Sites
PocketMore contains links to various other sites. Each of these sites has a privacy policy that may differ from that of PocketMore. The privacy practices of other websites linked to PocketMore are not covered by this privacy policy. Unless you choose to opt in to offers from a particular merchant, PocketMore will not disclose any of your personal information to our merchants. If you wish to receive special offers directly from a merchant, neither this privacy policy nor our opt-out policy applies to those communications. Instead, please refer to the relevant merchant's privacy and opt-out policy. If you opt in to such communications, PocketMore will provide your contact information to the merchants you request offers from. If you do not opt in to communications from a specific store, the only information that may be shared between PocketMore and one of our listed merchants is information that pertains to orders in the furtherance of tracking your order and providing you with a correct reward. Order information, including order numbers and amounts, may be available to either PocketMore, the merchant, or third party affiliate program management companies for accurate tracking purposes. PocketMore will not release this information to other parties unless requested by you. We reserve the right to disclose your PI information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site or to protect PocketMore and its members from losses. No Children under 13
It is the policy to PocketMore.com not to collect any information, private or otherwise from children under the age of 13.
